Adventures in Baja

Headed cross border again, this time in a passenger van. If you've read my previous Baja travel posts (Feb., Nov/Dec.,  Nov., Sept.) the usual way has been by trolley, then border crossing on foot. A different experience for sure. This trip was work-related, with some travel fun thrown in.

On Avenida Revolution, there was time for tequila tasting, picture taking and stops in One Bunk and Duhagan for design inspiration.

Duhagan, shop and  interior design firm

One Bunk, a AirBnB micro hotel in the renovated Hotel Lafayette

A stop in Playas de Tijuana to view the US-Mexico border fence, which is quite different than the US side

Always time for food - here, a lobster lunch in Puerto Nuevo. My companions did not eat tortillas, but that meant more for me...

A little play time in Rosarito Beach...

We headed back late afternoon and crossed in Otay. Our driver navigated well and got us back in no time, A good day!
