All in a Day's Run

This one was fun - the annual birthday month half-marathon. A great way to celebrate the start of another orbit around the sun.

Happy for the ability to train, complete races and keep up with the young ones. Actually negative split and able to will away the beginings of a leg cramp in the last half mile, using my yoga toolkit :)

The signs that spectators make to cheer the runners are always fun to read. Some of this year’s - “Chafing the dream”, “You run better than our government”, “Smile if you’re not wearing underwear.”

Special this year was seeing my daughter and her friends volunteering at the water table, They loved the energy of race day and enthusiastically cheered the racers.

I will keep running this race, year after year, for as long as I can.
