Here are a few thoughts as I enter my 9th year of a consistent yoga practice at home and in studio.
My day typically starts with gentle movement and a short vinyasa flow before leaving home. This is followed by a run or a community yoga class. It never gets old!
Favorite poses when I first started yoga were warrior pose and tree pose. Lately, I’ve come to enjoy poses that twist or bind.
Goals are to include more “stillness” or meditative practices throughout the day.
I continue to be grateful for a life that allows me the time to show up to my mat and look forward to continuing the journey.
