Postcard Love
A neon artwork by artist Martin Creed displayed at Hauser and Wirth in downtown LA
Back in 2023 I created some custom postcards from a sampling of photos I had taken and sent them to friends who I thought would appreciate receiving some handwritten snail mail.
Where I could re-visit with postcard in hand to take another photo, I did. The places in LA were easier for me to revisit (see gallery below).
For the postcard below, I returned to the King Center in Honolulu.
It’s been a fun little project and I even managed to hand delivery all the extra ones that were printed in error with the neon artwork by Martin Creed that displayed the message “Everything is going to be alright.” This particular sentiment reasonated with many in a positive way in these uncertain times.
