Spring is in the air and one of my favorites is blooming - the Matilija poppy, also referred to as the “fried egg” poppy. This native plant to California and Baja always catches my eye and makes me smile.

Fortunate to be in a walkable city with tree-lined streets and access to natural open space. Though I would love to be free to explore the wider region, Pasadena is a great home base.
