Still Enjoying the View

What’s new for 2021? Starting the year with optimism and continuing to share the view from Pasadena and greater LA area.

Mainly staying close to home while awaiting the vaccine :-)

I have become intimately familiar with my city and surrounding neighborhoods mainly through exploration on foot. Occasionally, I have ventured further afield. Still capturing and sharing images of the regional architecture and landscape on my blog and online.

A recent rain day made for clear views the day after. See images of DTLA above and The Norton Simon, closer to home.

In my suburban environment, there were serendipidous encounters with wildlife this week - feral peacocks in South Pasadena and deer in the Linda Vista neighborhood of Pasadena.

A common January resolution is to declutter and tidy up. For me, that means organizing my architecture and art photos taken on previous year travels and also on my everyday runs. Images can currently be viewed on social media and eventually on my website. Online posts can be searched (Instagram or Twitter) by hashtag #CCinxx” where xx is a city name or neighborhood such as #CCinPasadena, #CCinSanRafaelPasadena, #CCinLaJolla, etc.

Some of my images are grouped by architect or category.

I look forward to adding to the image library and exploring new ventures in 2021.
